GRP was founded by Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen. The first meaning of the name GRP, was Grusin Rosen Productions. After Grusin and Rosen left the company, in the mid 90', GRP used the marketing slogan "Great Records Period." GRP is now a Part of the Verve Music Group, a unit of the Universal Music Group.
This is a very enjoyable sampler from the GRP 1993 catalog.
